Things I need to consider about my audience when constructing my persuasive argument: Since I’ll be talking about how college cost affects certain groups more than others, I have to consider not leaving out some groups I won’t be focusing on but still will/plan include to talk about. My audience is college students and we’re all affected by college cost so I feel that they will be understanding but some may disagree with my argument and that’s fine because we all gave different views. I’ll be respectful of others’ views and back up my argument with my previous research so I’m not making assumptions or misinformation.
Secondary Resources: 1. https://www.theodysseyonline.com/the-critical-importance-of-cultural-groups-on-campuses I plan to use this secondary source to show the benefits of being in a cultural student body/organization, from a student member point of view. 2. https://www.uky.edu/mlkc/latinxhispanic-wildcats I want to use this website to show where to find these kinds of resources, (minority student resources), faculty and more at UK specifically.
